Yet another fun filled, busy week has gone by! Phonics This week we have continued learning the sound 'c'.  We engaged in many activities to consolidate this learning including, making things from clay beginning with 'c', making posters and drawing pictures. A Warm Welcome To Year 1! What an amazing start we've had to Year 1.  The very first day the children came in eager and ready to learn. Literacy On the very first day the children were introduced to the sound 'c' and produced some lovely 'cats with curly tails'. Maths The children enjoyed exploring numbers and shapes using the number balance and an assortment of wooden shapes.  We also revised our numbers this week and started making our own number books. UOI The children wanted to know all about the pictures on the Wonder Wall. Tone wanted to add his own picture of a crystal to the Wall. Well done Tone.  I think we may have to explore crystals.
