Farewell Year 1!

Farewell Year 1!

Hard to believe that the end of the school year has arrived, nevertheless it has.
I have had such a wonderful time teaching Year 1, I'm only sorry the face to face time was cut short.
However in the time we did have together, I got to know the students very well and I have wonderful memories of them.
Each of the children has unique talents and personalities, so much so I could write a blog about each one but I shall limit myself to a sentence or two.

Natasha

Natasha always entered the classroom with a lovely big smile on her face. As such she set the tone for the day.  She helped make the Year 1 classroom a happy place.
Thank you Natasha.

Luffy

Luffy's enthusiasm and excitement for learning is contagious.  Not only is Luffy a great student but also a great teacher.  I learned so many things from you Luffy.
Thank you.

Torch

It wasn't difficult to find a picture of Torch smiling, as he smiles most of the time.  Your sense of humour is one of the many things I admire about you Torch.
Keep smiling.

Jewoo you began Year 1 with so little English and look at you now!  I am totally inspired by your hard work and perseverance to learn the language.
Great job Jewoo!

Petch

Petch one of the many qualities I admire about you is your ability to work independently or as a member of a team. I love the way you share your knowledge and skills with your classmates.
Well done Petch.

Trevi
This photo shows just how creative you are Trevi.  I loved your many creations from your painting to your constructions.
Keep creating Trevi.

Ida

In your own quiet, unassuming way Ida you made such a positive impact on your classmates and teachers.  You are a beautiful, caring little girl Ida.

Tone

The main thing I will remember about you Tone is your 'big' smile.  You have the unique talent to make everyone around you feel happy, even if they are feeling sad to begin with.
Thank you for sharing those smiles Tone.

Akin
Akin I love the way you always tackled things with such interest and enthusiasm.  You always came to school with a big smile on your face, ready to tackle the day.
Your smile is infectious Akin.
 Keep smiling!
