UOI
As the children have been studying homes, with a focus on homes reflecting local culture, we went to visit a traditional Thai Home in Ban Chiang. The children found this absolutely fascinating and quite a contrast from their own homes.

English
A new sound the children learned this week was 'm'. We read a story from Japan called 'The Magic Mortar', after which some children drew things beginning with 'm' in their mortar and added 'm' to make words.

| Great Job Awa! |
Alex put a lot of effort into his mosaic 'm', resulting in a fantastic job. Well done Alex.
Maths
In maths this week we had a look at shapes such as, circles, semi-circles, squares, rectangles and triangles. The children had to count the different shapes in the houses.
