Loy Kratong
Maths
Part of our focus this week in maths was odd and even numbers. To consolidate what we have learned already about odd and even numbers the children had to sort the numbers and make number chains consisting of either odd number or even numbers.

Part of our ongoing investigation into homes and the materials used to build them, led us to investigate which materials were waterproof. The children thoroughly enjoyed testing and sorting different materials into waterproof and non-waterproof.English
The letter of the week was 'n'. The children showed their creativity with their beautiful 'night' pictures they produced. The class has also begun to read and write simple words. In the picture below, Tanat is looking for the same word in each of 4 columns.
Linux fills in the missing words in the sentences. Meanwhile, Hugo, Alex and Korwan reinforce their knowledge of sounds by playing a phonics game.
