On Monday we had the celebration to end all celebrations. On finishing our UOI on 'celebration' the children planned their own celebration. This children certainly needed all of the skills and knowledge they had acquired during this unit to plan the celebration.

UOI
The title of our UOI this term is 'All living things go through a process of change'. Consequently, we are investigating life cycles of insects and animals. This week we have looked at the life cycle of a butterfly and a frog.
Literacy
In literacy the children continue to learn their sounds as well as copying sentences from the board and writing short sentences which are dictated to them. We have also been reading stories from Australia in preparation for International week.
Letter of the week this week was 'j'. The children drew objects beginning with 'j' in their jar.
